Colbie Jorgensen, PT, DPT
Sports physical therapy
Rehab for people whose sport is not optional, run by a therapist who has raced triathlon since 2006.
Why the therapist's own mileage matters here
Colbie Jorgensen has been racing triathlon since 2006 and has ridden 200-plus-mile events in a single day. He is trained in bike fitting, which is rarely on a physical therapy menu and is frequently the actual answer for a cyclist's knee. He has spent fifteen years studying manual therapy styles and is Clinical Excellence Certified through the Institute of Clinical Excellence. His own summary of the job is that most people do not need fancy exercises or miracle treatments, they need someone to listen, focus on the basics, and coach them. In a town with a marathon, a Senior Games and a pickleball court on every block, that is a useful person to know.
Prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and the return
The service covers the whole arc of a sports injury for athletes at any level, from youth through professional. Fortify's therapists work from evidence-based protocols, the clinic is easy to get to in St. George with flexible scheduling, and the track record is athletes going back to their sport safely rather than early.

Four things the programme is made of
Injury-specific rehab programmes
Built around your sport and your injury rather than a generic protocol, and finished with return-to-sport testing so the decision to go back is a measurement instead of a feeling.
Manual therapy for athletes
Joint mobilization, soft tissue release and scar tissue work, aimed at the restriction that is costing you output rather than the one that is merely sore.
Sport-specific strength and conditioning
Power, endurance and agility, with the muscle imbalances corrected instead of trained around. Blood flow restriction training is available when load has to stay low.
Injury prevention and performance optimisation
Movement screens and pre-season readiness work, for the athlete who would rather not meet us in the rehab version of this list.
What comes through the door
Post-surgical work is a large part of it. ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair and rotator cuff repair all have their own rehab arc, and starting the right one early changes where you finish.
