Personal trainer and wellness coach
Cristine Harper, CPT
The training, nutrition and wellness side of Fortify, run by a certified trainer who is also a trained chef.
Cristine Harper is a personal trainer, wellness coach and, in her own description, a passionate advocate for whole-body health. She works from a holistic, root-cause approach, helping women and men reclaim their energy, rebuild strength and restore balance physically, mentally and emotionally.
Her work blends functional nutrition, movement and lifestyle strategy, aimed at long-term wellness rather than quick fixes. In practice that means the people she sees are often recovering postpartum, rebuilding after burnout, or simply after a more aligned and empowered version of themselves. It is a different job from rehabilitating a torn rotator cuff, and it sits alongside it in the same building on purpose.
She grew up on a farm in Southern Idaho, where she learned the value of hard work and whole foods. She is a wife to her high school sweetheart and a proud mother of three boys and one girl.
Alongside being a certified NASM personal trainer and a credentialed wellness coach, she is a professionally trained chef, having earned her degree from The Art Institute of Salt Lake City in 2010. She has been creating individualised workout programmes and meal plans for over nine years, helping clients reach their goals while enjoying the process, which is the part most plans forget to include.
After being diagnosed with celiac disease in 2010, she became deeply experienced in working with food allergies and sensitivities. She cooks exclusively gluten and dairy free for her family, and as a chef she enjoys showing people that food which is genuinely good for them can also be worth eating. Whether the work is training, cleaning up nutrition, or supporting lifestyle more broadly, her stated goal is the same: helping you thrive in a way that feels strong, sustainable and fun.
Personal training and wellness coaching at Fortify are HSA and FSA eligible, which is worth knowing if you have a balance sitting unused.
